iPad 2 fail, un moft de 40 milioane

Am in teste de cateva zile un ipad2, primul meu device de la Apple, cu siguranta si ultimul. Dupa ce m-am chinuit aproape o ora sa-mi fac un cont fara carte de credit, am descoperit cu stupoare ca nu exista nici un fel de aplicatie pentru managementul fisierelor, o mare tampenie dupa parerea mea.

Conectat la pc este detectat de Windows ca un Imaging Device, tot ce poti face este sa descarci pozele de pe el, atat! Bine ca merg si astea separat de rahatul acela de itunes.

In continuare raman uimit de pretul super exagerat al acestui moft, aproape 40 mil pentru o jucarie cu margini rotunde, la banii astia iei 2-3 Xoom-uri pentru toata familia, un aparat de o mie de ori mai performant decat acest mar stricat.

Cam atat, nu prea am ce sa mai povestesc altceva, un device pentru fitosi, bun sa te afisezi cu el in dorobanti la o cafea citind revista ciao in format electronic, pentru adevaratii cunoscatori exista o singura varianta: Android!

Galaxy Note - Tableta Smartphone cu ecran de 5.3''

Samsung a prezentat astăzi la conferinţa de la IFA Berlin noul dispozitiv Galaxy Note, un hibrid  smartphone-tabletă, astfel pavand drumul pentru o noua categorie de gadgeturi.

Galaxy Note are un ecran de 5,3 inchi HD Super AMOLED, care e descris ca fiind „cel mai mare şi cel mai de calitate display din industria smartphone-urilor.”

Terminalul are inclus în corp un S Pen, care înlocuieşte stylus-ul arhicunoscut. S Pen-ul dispune de o sensibilitate ridicată la presiunea pe ecran, ceea ce înseamnă o redare extrem de reală a scrisului şi a desenatului pe dispozitiv.

Caracteristicile acestui dispozitiv sunt de ultimă generaţie: procesor dual-core de 1.4GHz, sistem de operare Android 2.3 Gingerbread, camere de 8 respectiv 2 megapixeli, o baterie de 2.500 mAh şi cântăreşte doar 178 grame, destul de impresionant pentru mărimea produsului.

Disponibilitatea lui Samsung Galaxy Note in Romania este încă necunoscută, dar prețul va fi situat undeva intre 700-900 Euro, sustin sursele oficiale.

Aplicatia abia lansata inca nu este disponibila pentru utilizatorii de Android Market din Romania, dar baietii destepti cu telefoane root-ate din SUA s-au gandit sa ne faca si noua un bine si sa dea drumul apk-ului pe interwebz.

Galaxy S update la Android 2.3.3 disponibil in Romania

O veste foarte buna pentru toți posesorii de Samsung Galaxy S, începând de astăzi updateul la Android 2.3.3 este disponibil in toate rețelele din România, precum si pentru telefoanele cumparate la liber.

Procesul este destul de simplu, rulati aplicatia Kies, iar restul de treaba este facut prin urmarea corecta a pasilor de pe ecran, nu prea aveti ce sa gresiti, poate doar sa va faca prostia aia de Kies probleme, atunci va astept cu un comentariu ca sa vedem cum ii dam de cap.

Samsung Dive - Track & lock your stolen Galaxy S II or any Samsung Smartphone

I always wanted an app that can trace my phone and ring it, in case i might misplaced it or somebody wants to make bad joke or maybe i'm just not lucky and i end up with my phone stolen. But all the apps in the market are either expensive or they don't really work.
Seems like Samsung already figured this out for us and we don't even need to install anything on our phones, all you have to do is set up an Samsung Account, which is very useful for all kinds of things.

Go to samsungdive.com, login with your account and you are ready to go, just hit "Find my mobile" and in a few minutes you'll get the exact location of your phone shown on the map, no need to activate the GPS on your phone, the web site does that for you. After that, there's a bunch of stuff you can do, like Ring it, Lock it, Wipe it, even get the call logs, so you can see exactly who's using your phone and for what. It's great!

NO Root - CRT Screen Off animation for Samsung Galaxy S 1 / 2 / 3 + all Android phones

For those of you who want the screen off effect from Nexus series, but don't want to root your phone, i have found a small but great app, that can do just that, plus it has like 10 screen off effects and you can also use sound effects for lock / unlock screen.
